During the 2009 FIRST Robotics season, New York Times Bestselling author Neal Bascomb shadowed the D'Penguineers of the DP Engineering Academy and memorialized that season in his latest book, The New Cool: A Visionary Teacher, His FIRST Robotics Team, and the Ultimate Battle of Smarts.
